Happy Holidays!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and you are ready for the most amazing New Year.
2015 was a fantastic and exciting year for me! You showed me so much love and support. You shared, liked, pinned and twitted my recipes and photos. You sent me pictures of your wonderful creations, emailed me and commented on my blog and YouTube channel.
All I can say is thank you, thank YOU, THANK YOU!! Thank you for reading my blog, watching my videos, and trying my recipes. Thank you for the wonderful and amazing year.
Here is my most popular recipe, by far, based on your likes. I'm sure you know what it is!
Apple Roses: rose-shaped dessert, made with lots of soft and delicious apple slices, wrapped in sweet and crispy puff pastry
Runner up:
Lemon-Poppy Seeds Muffins: full of a summery citrus flavor, with a super soft and fluffy texture, and the added crunchiness of the poppy seeds
Most loved pasta recipe:
Mediterranean Pasta Salad: Healthy, quick and delicious pasta salad with artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, olives, fresh mozzarella and basil.
Most loved savory dish:
Egg and Pancetta on Toasted Bread Cups: These cute bread cups have it all: perfectly baked egg, crispy-at-the-edges pancetta, and melted cheesy center. All over a golden toasted bread cup. Brunch can't get any better than this!
Most popular cake:
Soft Apple Cake: Soft, moist, and easy to make.
And here is MY favorite recipe of the year. The one thing I would bake (and EAT!!) all the time. Or any time I find myself in my kitchen feeling like baking something delicious ... which is all the time!
My favorite recipe is ....
Ok, sorry! I can't pick just one. I tried, really hard, to think of just one thing I could be happy with. But many recipes come to mind.
So here are three of my favorites, in no particular order:
Nutella - Hazelnut Thumbprint Cookies: Buttery and crumbly cookies covered with crunchy hazelnuts and filled with rich and creamy Nutella.
Rustic Nectarine Crostata: made with sweet and juicy nectarines, a touch of cinnamon, over a buttery and flaky crust.
And last but not least, could not miss a delicious and rich ...
Homemade Crème Brûlée: Velvety custard cream, topped with a perfectly sweet and crunchy layer of caramelized sugar
Now that I've made myself hungry for all of these, tell me...
What was your favorite dish you made this year?!?
Wishing you the best year ahead, filled with love and happiness :)

ReplyDeleteMerci :) Bonne année à toi!
DeleteThank you for sharing so many wonderful recipes. You inspire me! During school breaks, I like to post recipes on my kindergarten blog for teachers. My favorite recipe this year is for my cannoli chips. I make chips out of the cannoli shell dough so you don't have to commit to an entire cannoli. I put the filling in a bowl and we eat them like a dessert chip & dip. I also made Obe 1 Cannoli after seeing someone post a similar one on Pinterest. Here is my post about it. Scroll down so you can see Obe 1 Cannoli: http://kfundamentals.blogspot.com/2015/12/christmas-at-our-house-part-3-melding.html
ReplyDeleteYummmm! Sounds delicious. Thank you so much for sharing :)
